COST TERRA

The idea with COST-TERRA is to establish a multi-disciplinary European forum, a Think-Tank, focused on coordinating techno-economic studies for the development of a harmonised European regulatory framework to facilitate the advancement and broad commercial deployment of Cognitive Radio/Software Defined Radio (CR/SDR) systems.

Habitele

Habitele is an ANR-granted project around the sphere that is created by a user’s mobile phone. In this project Telecom ParisTech is interested into privacy issues and trust relationships. A user’s identity is disclosed to multiple service providers who are supposedly trusted. However, leakages can happen and we are currently working to characterize the frequency of such issues.

SINARI

SINARI is an ANR research project that aims at studying and dealing with the security and safety-related interdependencies between telecommunication networks and the power grid.

Diaforus

The Diaforus project aims at building a framework to facilitate the deployment of a wireless sensor network for area surveillance. Sensors are supposed to be placed around an area of interest and should auto-organize from this point to report meaningful events to a central coordination point while filtering false alarms. Diaforus relies on standard communication layers: Wavenis (Coronis systems technology) at the physical and MAC levels and µIP at the network layer (using RPL for routing).
